Herbert Huber (politician, 1930)

Herbert Huber (born May 24, 1930 in Munich ; † November 8, 1997 in Hebertshausen ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

After graduating from the Old Realgymnasium (today Oskar-von-Miller-Gymnasium ) in Munich, Huber began studying law and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , which he completed in 1953 with the first state examination in law. He was since 1953 Speaker, since 1956 Managing Director and in 1958 executive board member of the Economic Advisory Council of the Union eV 1954 he graduated as Dr. jur. and in 1957 he passed the second state examination in law. In 1958 he was admitted to the Munich bar.

politics

Huber joined the CSU, was a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1970 to 1994 and chairman of the committee for economics and transport from 1978 to 1994.

Honors

In 1989 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit.
