Herbert Kränzlein (born May 14, 1950 in Munich ) is a German lawyer , politician and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament ( SPD ).

Life

After attending school, Kränzlein initially completed administrative training with the City of Munich from 1966 to 1968. After a voluntary social year , he completed his visit to the Munich College with a high school diploma in 1972. A law degree with a second state examination and a doctorate in 1979 on the execution and termination of voluntary educational assistance and welfare education followed. He then worked as a public prosecutor in Munich until 1986 and then as a judge at the Fürstenfeldbruck district court until 1988 . From 1988 to 2012 he was first mayor of Puchheim . He was a member of the finance committee of the Bavarian Association of Cities , is a member of the board of directors at Klinikum Fürstenfeldbruck and was a member of the supervisory board of KommEnergie GmbH. He lives in Eichenau .

Kränzlein joined the SPD in 1971. He is a member of the district council of the Fürstenfeldbruck district . He ran for a seat in the Landsberg am Lech, Fürstenfeldbruck-West constituency in the Bavarian state elections in 2013 and received a seat on the SPD district list in the Upper Bavaria constituency . He was a member of the budget and finance committee of the Bavarian state parliament. Its policy focuses on public finances, the rapid further development of local public transport in the greater Munich area, assistance for people with disabilities and affordable housing in the Munich metropolitan area. He advocates a Bavaria-wide state construction company that supports cities, municipalities and districts in financing housing programs. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2018 , he did not stand again and left parliament.
