Herbert Reisinger

Herbert Reisinger (born December 26, 1961 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian jazz musician ( drums , vocals , clarinet ) and composer .

Act

Reisinger started out as an autodidact . Since 1988 he has been a member of Striped Roses ; several albums were created with this band (partly with Christoph Cech , Donna Wagner Molinari, Franz Hautzinger , Hans Steiner, Helge Hinteregger, Robert Radelmacher and Werner Dafeldecker ).

All over Europe he played in numerous formations of the most diverse musical genres, such as the Nouvelle Cuisine Big Band , the Afrofunk band Takon Orchester and Erika Pluhar . He also worked with jazz and avant-garde musicians such as Otto Lechner , Wolfgang Mitterer , Max Nagl , Wolfgang Reisinger and Joe Zawinul . There were appearances at festivals such as the Donaueschinger Musiktage . Reisinger also worked as a musician in the theater sector. After a break as a musician, Reisinger started working as a cross-border composer in 2008.
