The series focuses on the family of philosophy professor Greg Bishop, his wife, gynecologist Audrey and their two adopted sons from Vietnam and Colombia and the adopted daughter from Liberia, as well as their biological daughter Kristen. As one of the children begins to see things that others cannot see, they will be taken care of by a psychiatrist and will bring to the surface the division of a seemingly perfect multi-ethnic family.
