Life

Heribert Heick learned the organ building trade from Eduard Hirnschrodt and then worked in this company. After the company was taken over by the organ building company Georg Jann in 1974/1975 , he continued to work for the successor company until he became self-employed in 1988 and worked primarily as a freelance voicer and restorer in Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate . In doing so, he benefited greatly from his extensive knowledge of pneumatics , which he had acquired in his training workshop. His only self-built organ is in the church of the Katharinenspital in Regensburg.

The organ building company he founded in 1988, with a focus on restoration , is still run by his son in Regenstauf and at the Stadtamhof headquarters .
