The Hermann Güntherodt settlement is a part of An der Schmücke in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

The settlement is located between Gorsleben and Oldisleben and the Heldrungen train station between Bundesstrasse 85 and Bundesstrasse 86 near Sachsenburg in the Wipperniederung at the transition to the Unstrutaue. In Oldisleben, the settlement on the right side of the Unstrut belongs to the Sachsenburg district .

Hermann Güntherodt was murdered before the Nazis came to power . Hence the name of the settlement.
