Hermann Conrad (politician)

Hermann Conrad (born August 18, 1814 in Marienwerder , † June 19, 1885 in Fronza ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician.

Life

Hermann Conrad attended Marienwerder high school and studied in Königsberg and Berlin . He owned the manors Fronza and Lalkau in the Marienwerder district in West Prussia . From 1861 to 1864 he was a member of the Central Commission for the regulation of property tax and was the head of the Agricultural Central Association for West Prussia.

From 1852 to 1855 and from 1858 to 1861 Conrad was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1867 to 1871 he was also a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency Marienwerder 1 ( Marienwerder , Stuhm ). In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament . He belonged to the National Liberal Party .
