Hermann Molter

Hermann Molter (born February 14, 1914 in Gießen ; † October 22, 1978 ) was a German engineer, entrepreneur and politician (LDP, FDP ).

Life

After graduating from high school in Darmstadt , Molter first studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt .

As a chief pilot engineer, Molter was from October 11, 1939 "Consultant for the development of production machines" in the Reich Ministry of Aviation , and thus also with the " General Aircraft Master ".

After his release from French captivity, Molter began studying economics, which he finished with an engineering degree. He worked as an employee in the industry and later became managing director of an import and export company. Finally, as a self-employed businessman, he was the owner of an import and agency company for machine tools.

Hermann Molter joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1937 ( membership number 5,693,966). He was also a member of the SA .

Molter had been a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) since 1946, which later became the Hessian state association of the FDP . From 1948 to 1952 he was a council member of the Reinheim community . He belonged to the Hessian state parliament from October 14, 1951 , when he replaced the resigned MP Karl Theodor Bleek , until 1954 and again from 1962 to 1974. From 1970 to 1974 he was deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. In 1973/74 he was Vice President of the State Parliament.

In 1974 he received the Freiherr vom Stein plaque from the city of Darmstadt.
