Hermann Pinckernelle

Hermann Pinckernelle (born April 12, 1880 in Hamburg ; † October 31, 1954 there ) was a German lawyer in Hamburg. In the post-war period he was a member of the Hamburg Citizenship, which was appointed by the Control Commission for Germany / British Element .

Life

Pinckernelle attended the Johanneum School of Academics and studied law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1898 he became active in the Corps Suevia Tübingen and, like all Pinckernelles at Suevia, was called "Pinkus". In 1902 he was at the University of Rostock to Dr. iur. PhD. As a lieutenant in the Landwehr , he was seriously wounded in the First World War in 1914 . After five operations by French military surgeons, he was interned on Lake Lucerne in 1916 . In 1919 he became the parish line the municipality Hamburg-Winterhude elected in 1920 and chairman. In 1934 he took part in the confessional synods of the German Evangelical Church in Barmen and Berlin-Dahlem . From 1952 until his death he was deputy chairman of the Association of Old Corps Students . Pinckernelle was appointed to the Appointed Hamburg Citizenship by the British occupying forces in February 1946 . There he initially belonged to the "non-party faction" until he joined the CDU in June 1946 with the group around the First Mayor Rudolf Petersen .
