Hermann Weber (artist)
Hermann Weber (* 1959 in Biberach an der Riß ) is a German artist and professor of art and design at the Burg Giebichenstein Art College in Halle .
Live and act
Weber was a student with professors Markus Lüpertz , Albrecht von Hancke and Horst Antes at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe . The final examination was followed by a job as a lecturer at the same academy.
In 1996 Weber was appointed professor of art and design at the Burg Giebichenstein University in Halle (Saale) .
Weber lives and works mainly in Berg (Palatinate) , since 2000 he has also had a studio in Rome , San Lorenzo.
Weber has been a member of the German Association of Artists since 2008.
