Hermann Weber (born September 22, 1902 in Unterkochen ; † August 1, 1976 ) was a pastor and local researcher .

He was the son of a shoemaker, attended the Latin school in Buchau am Federsee from 1911 , and the high school in Rottweil from 1914 . From 1920 he studied philosophy and theology at Wilhelmsstift in Tübingen . In 1925 he switched to the seminary in Rottenburg am Neckar , and on February 27, 1926 he was ordained a priest . He was then vicar in Ulm , from 1928 chaplain in Bodnegg , from 1934 pastor in Hofherrnweiler . From 1941 to 1957 he was pastor in Marlach and from 1957 to his retirement in 1967 he was pastor in Zöbingen . During his time in Marlach, he was also the episcopal commissioner for religious education at the Künzelsau educational institute and advanced high school (today: school dean ). In addition to his work as a pastor, Weber was also particularly active in local history. He has written over 100 articles mainly on the history of the churches and chapels in the area of ​​the lower Jagst . In 1964 he wrote the lyrics of the home song Mein Unterkochen . In his honor, an older St. Kilian's wayside shrine was rededicated as a memorial stone on Zieburgweg in Marlach in 2004.
