Hernando Velásquez Lotero
Hernando Velásquez Lotero (born July 6, 1926 in Medellín , † April 26, 2004 ibid) was Bishop of Facatativá .
Life
Hernando Velásquez Lotero was ordained a priest on October 29, 1950 . Paul VI appointed him on December 10, 1971 auxiliary bishop in Popayán and titular bishop of Garba .
The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on February 13 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Bernard Jan Cardinal Alfrink , Archbishop of Utrecht and Military Vicar of the Netherlands , and William John Cardinal Conway , Archbishop of Armagh .
On April 27, 1973 he was appointed Bishop of Facatativá . He resigned from his office on May 18, 1985.
