Herrenmagazin is a rock and indie band from Hamburg .

Their debut album called Atzelgift , with which they were able to establish themselves nationwide in the indie scene, was released on the Berlin label Motor Music .

Band history

The band Herrenmagazin was founded at the end of 2004 with the first line-up of Deniz Jaspersen (guitar, vocals), Philip Wildfang (guitar) and Rasmus Engler (drums). Engler previously appeared as the drummer in Robert Stadlober's band , Gary .

The bassist, Paul Konopacka, met the three founding members in 2005, two of whom he knew from school. Philip Wildfang left the band in early 2009 and was replaced by the former “peters.” Singer and “The Sea” guitarist, König Wilhelmsburg (Toben Leske).

In January 2016, the band announced that they would take an indefinite break from the end of the year.
