The Hesselbach is a 2.7 km long, eastern and orographically right tributary of the Banfe in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Siegen-Wittgenstein .
course
The Hesselbach rises east of Hesselbach , a district of Bad Laasphe . Its source is located on the southern flank of the Spreitzkopf ( 627 m above sea level ) at an altitude of around 530 m . From there it flows for the first few meters in a southerly direction, but then turns in the further course in a predominantly westerly direction. The Hesselbach flows through the village of the same name, Hesselbach, and then flows through an open meadow valley, always parallel to Hesselbacher Straße . Something then it flows north from at Banfe located Fischelbach to approximately 399 m altitude in the coming there from the south and in the local headwaters also Fischelbach called Lahn influx Banfe; To the west of the mouth rises the Burgberg ( castle ; 563.2 m ).
