The Heuchelheimer Berg is 391 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Steigerwald . It is located in the northern part of the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

Geographical location

The Heuchelheimer Berg is one of the lower mountains of the Steigerwald , so it is not as distinctive as z. B. the Schwanberg , which is already visible from afar .

The mountain is located north of the village of Münchhof and about four kilometers south of Heuchelheim . It can be reached via the street St 2256 . There is no signage.

Attractions

On the mountain is the Dreifrankenstein , where the three Franconian administrative districts of Upper , Middle and Lower Franconia meet. It is also known as the heart of Franconia and is a symbol of the togetherness of all Francs. At the same time, the Dreifrankenstein also indicates the division of the Franconia . Today, Franconia is spread across the federal states of Bavaria , Thuringia and Baden-Württemberg in the regions of Upper Franconia , Middle Franconia , Lower Franconia, Henneberg-Itzgrund-Franconia , Tauberfranken and Hohenlohe-Franconia . Smaller areas in Hessen are also assigned to Francs.
