Hier & Jetzt (H&J) was a right-wing extremist magazine that started out quarterly at the beginning of 2005 and later appeared irregularly . It was initially published by the Saxon State Association of Young National Democrats , the youth organization of the NPD . Since 2009, the NPD-related educational work for home and national identity eV has been the publisher.
The editors-in-chief were Johannes Nagel from 2005 to 2008 , Angelika Willig from 2008 to 2009 and most recently from 2009 the NPD functionary Arne Schimmer , who at the same time also worked for Edition Antaios of the Institute for State Policy .
The last issue of the magazine appeared in spring 2013.
Alignment
Already in the 2006 report on the protection of the constitution by the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior it can be read that "ostensibly right-wing extremist theories are being conveyed". In addition, "alternative models of social organization and - from a right-wing extremist perspective - political backgrounds and cultural aspects are discussed."
According to the editors, the aim is to create a “right-wing radical script”; “Well-known authors from the right-wing intellectual scene” addressed “a formally more educated public”. According to the Ministry of the Interior of Schleswig-Holstein, “the target group of young people and schoolchildren” is being promoted. According to the announcement of the NPD Saxony (2009), NPD MPs wanted to actively participate in the coming years for further development. The NPD is waging a “fight for the heads” in which it “seeks to involve intellectuals who do not belong to them. So far, however, these efforts have hardly shown any success, ”said the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior.
In the constitution protection report 2012 of the Federal Ministry of the Interior , it was stated in the right-wing extremism section “Strategic Approaches” of the NPD that the publication reached “a relatively high intellectual level for the right-wing extremist spectrum” and thus “the NPD actually had a participant that went beyond the immediate environment Readers' audience ". Nonetheless, “the party remains far from influencing a socio-politically relevant discourse”.
The Saxon State Ministry of the Interior last listed the magazine as right-wing extremist in the 2013 report on the protection of the constitution . It further stated: "The obvious efforts to include articles whose content is not right-wing extremist appear to be merely a tactical means of creating the image of a pluralistic culture of discussion."
Authors were well-known right-wing extremists such as Karl Richter , Reinhold Oberlercher , Jürgen Schwab , and Bernd Rabehl . The interview partners included a. Andreas Molau , Udo Voigt and Michael Schäfer , all members of the NPD, and the "converts" Günter Maschke , Hans-Dietrich Sander and Hadayatullah Hübsch as well as Ernst Nolte are available.
Angelika Willig, former Junge Freiheit editor and partner of Uwe Meenen , was editor-in-chief until 2009 . 2008, led by Angelika Willig received Here & Now the prize for journalism at that time of Andreas Molau out-right Society for free journalism (GAP).
