Here is the second studio album by the German rock band Selig . It was released on Epic Records in 1995 .
background
With their debut album Selig , the band achieved their commercial breakthrough in 1994 and thus chart successes in Germany and Austria, a tour as a headliner in the fall, TV presence on VIVA and MTV and the award of the Echo for the video If I wanted . For the second work that followed, the ICP Studios in Brussels were chosen in order to be able to work on the sound recordings in peace due to the seclusion, which was completed in six weeks. Franz Plasa was again present as the producer . It was here in May 1995 on the Epic Records label, which belongs to Sony Music , and Selig then played alongside an almost sold-out tour at various festivals, including Rock am Ring .

reception
- The Metal Hammer wrote in September 1995 that Selig would drive in the fast lane compared to Brings . Blessed are fully captured by the retro trend and move in the area of alternative / grunge. The music would be even more reminiscent of the Doors compared to the debut album , and the group's lyrics were mostly about sexual themes.
