Hieronymus Schlick , Count of Bassano , Lord of Weißkirchen , († 1612 ), was a Kurbrandenburg Hofrat .

Life

Origin and family

Jerome III was a member of the Schlik family . His father was Sebastian Schlick († 1594). He married Erdmuthe Sophie von Putbus (1586–1619).

Career

Schlick was chamberlain , chief stables and chief hunter of Elector Joachim Friedrich . He was admitted to the Secret Council College as its first member in December 1604 . Schlick was a very close confidante of the elector, who already directed his homage in Berlin and was also at his side as chief chamberlain on his death on the carriage ride between Koepenick and Storkow .
