Higashikunisaki-gun (Ōita)
Higashi-Kunisaki ( Japanese: 東 国 東郡 , - gun ) is a district in Ōita Prefecture in southern Japan .
In April 2006 the district had 2898 inhabitants on an area of 6.75 km² . The population density is 429.33 inhabitants / km².
Communities
On March 31, 2006, the cities of Aki , Kunimi , Kunisaki and Musashi merged to form the city of Kunisaki .
The only remaining parish in the district and also the only village parish in the entire prefecture is Himeshima .
