Bungo-Takada ( Japanese 豊 後 高田 市 , - shi ) is a city in Ōita Prefecture .

Bungo-Takada is located in the northwest of the Kunisaki Peninsula, west of Kunisaki and east of Nakatsu and Usa .
history
The community was originally called Takada and was renamed Bungo-Takada on May 10, 1954 after various incorporations. On March 31, 2005, it was named an independent city ( shi ).
