Hildegard Kleeb

Hildegard Kleeb (* 1957 in Richenthal , Willisau ) is a Swiss pianist.

Live and act

After her first piano and oboe lessons at the music school in Zug, she studied piano with Cécile Hux and oboe with Hans-Martin Ulbrich at the Zurich Conservatory from 1978 to 1982 . Further studies followed, among others with Eric Gaudibert in Geneva, with Claude Helffer in Paris and with Jürg Wyttenbach at the Musikhochschule Basel . In 1990 she was a visiting scholar at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki and from 1992 to 1995 at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA, where she also performed with the Anthony Braxton Ensemble in New York and the Javanese Gamelan Orchestra of the university. Here it came to collaboration with Anthony Braxton , Alvin Lucier and Christian Wolff . She is married to the trombonist Roland Dahinden .
