Philippe Deléglise

Philippe Deléglise (born June 22, 1952 in Geneva ) is a Swiss artist .

Life

Deléglise studied from 1971 to 1976 at the École cantonale des Beaux-Arts (EcBA) in Geneva and from 1972 to 1973 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . Since 1973 he has also worked as a drawing teacher in Geneva. From 1976 to 1977 he was co-editor of the magazine N ° Groupe . Together with Chérif Defraoui , Silvie Defraoui and others, he founded the artist group Messageries Associées . In the mid-1970s he became a supporter of the Fluxus movement in Geneva, and from the mid-1980s objects and panel paintings with constructivist elements took up a large part of his work.

He is a painter , draftsman , engraver and photographer and deals with film and performance ( happenings, etc.), working in particular with music and sound. He received the Prix ​​Manor in 1987, the Société des Arts de Genève Prize in 1992, the Irène Reymond Foundation in 2004 and the Jacqueline Oyex Foundation in 2014 .
