Hildegard von Rheden

Hildegard von Rheden , b. Dewitz von Woyna (born July 29, 1895 in Neustadt am Rübenberge , † April 26, 1987 in Adelheidsdorf ), was a German politician ( DRP ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

She was the daughter of the royal Prussian district administrator Dr. jur. Wilhelm Dewitz von Woyna (1857–1930), landlord on Poggenhagen near Neustadt am Rübenberge and member of the Prussian House of Representatives , and Anna Ulrich.

Career

After attending a lyceum in Hanover, she completed an education in housekeeping at her parents' estate in Poggenhagen and in Great Britain . She was involved in the district of Gronau in the district association of the German Red Cross . She founded the local regional women's association and became a member of the board of the regional association of agricultural housewives' associations for Hanover, Braunschweig, Oldenburg and Lippe. For the German rural women's work in the Reichsnährstand von Rheden became department head, and finally she represented Germany as a delegate in the World Rural Women's Federation in London (department for handicrafts and handicrafts).

On May 1, 1931 she joined the NSDAP ( membership number 537.820), for which she u. a. appeared as a campaign speaker. In 1933 she was a consultant for rural women issues in the state farming community in Hanover. In 1935 she founded a weaving school in Jetenburg , which she ran until 1945.

From 1945 to 1947 she was in an internment camp . In 1948 she was denazified as a fellow traveler in Category IV .

From 1955 to 1961 Hildegard von Rheden was a member of the party executive committee of the DRP, and she was also the party's women's officer. In addition, she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from May 6, 1955 to May 5, 1959 (3rd electoral period); In the period from November 5, 1957 to June 2, 1958, she was a guest of the FDP - GB / BHE parliamentary group, previously a member of the DRP parliamentary group until November 4, 1957. From December 4, 1957 to May 5, 1959, she was also a member of the Culture Committee.

She married on June 25, 1914 at Gut Poggenhagen the landowner Hartwig von Rheden (1885–1957), landlord on Rheden and Heinum (now part of Rheden (Lower Saxony) ), member of the German Reichstag and state farmer leader of Lower Saxony . He was the son of the landlord August von Rheden (1853-1907), u. a. President of the Chamber of Agriculture and member of the Prussian mansion , and Elfriede von der Betten (Stellenfleth house, 1860–1930). The couple had two sons and two daughters.
