The Hillbringse (also called Hilbringsen or Einsel ) is a 4.6 km long, southern and orographically right tributary of the Aa in the urban area of Brilon in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis ( Germany ).

The Hillbringse rises north of the Brilon district of Petersborn , south of the Poppenberg ( 605 m above sea level ) and west of the Gudenhagener Poppenberg ( 564 m ) at 530 m above sea level. Its source is immediately south of the Rhine-Weser watershed . Initially flowing west-southwest, the stream turns increasingly north from the managed Hiebammen Hut . After a little more than 1.4 km of flow, the Deitmecke joins the river from the south . After 4.6 km the Hillbringse flows into the Aa between Altenbüren in the west and the nearby Brilon in the east at an altitude of 430 m .
With a height difference of around 100 m, the mean bottom gradient of the Hillbringse is 21.7 ‰. Its catchment area is 6,957 km².
