The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Assumption , a listed building, is located in Hohne , a municipality in the Celle district of Lower Saxony . The church belongs to the parish of Celle in Sprengel Lüneburg the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover .

The neo-Romanesque hall church with a central nave and a side nave was built in 1912/1913 by Wilhelm Matthies. On the north side is the arm of a transept . The lower storey of the retracted church tower in the west, which is covered with a pyramid roof, and the walls of the nave , which is covered with a gable roof, are made of Cyclops masonry . The wide central nave has a ribbed vault , the narrow aisle is spanned across with a basket-arched barrel vault. The gallery is in front of the wall in the west . The colored design of the interior has largely been preserved. In the during construction church furnishings pieces were incorporated the previous building, as the baptismal font from the first half of the 17th century, the pulpit of 1636/1638 and the organ of the 1821st
