  • Hippophae neurocarpa S.W.Liu & TNHe : The home is the Chinese provinces: Qinghai, Sichuan, Xizang at altitudes between 3400 and 4400 meters.
  • Hippophae salicifolia D.Don : The homeland is Bhutan , northern India , Nepal and southern Xizang at altitudes between 2800 and 3500 meters in the Himalayas .
  • Hippophae tibetana Schlechtendal : The homeland is Bhutan, northern India, Nepal and the Chinese provinces: Gansu, Qinghai, Xizang at altitudes between 3600 and 4700 meters in the Himalayas.
