The Hirschlaine is a right tributary to the Eschenlaine near Eschenlohe . It arises from ditches on the eastern slopes of the Osterfeuerspitze, but after a short run it joins the much longer Eckleiten ditch, which arises further east on the Ölrain . The rest of the south-westerly course leads past the Wengwies Castle.
