The peucedanum cervaria or deer Wurz ( Peucedanum cervaria , Syn. : Cervaria Rivini ), also deer-hair strand called, is one of Central Europe scattered to widely occurring Doldenblütler (Apiales). It blooms in July and August.

The chromosome number of the species is 2n = 22.

distribution

Location requirements

In Central Europe it is a character species of the Geranio-Peucedanetum cervariae from the Geranion sanguinei association. Occasionally it occurs in semi-arid grasslands (association Mesobromion) or in light oak coppice forests (order Quercetalia pubescentis).

It is a sub-Mediterranean-weak-continental floral element. The distribution area includes the countries Algeria, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, European Russia, Belarus, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro , Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
