The (or the ) Hochglück is a mountain with a height of 2573 m above sea level. A. in the Hinterautal-Vomper chain of the Karwendel in Tyrol .
Its south ridge carries the Kaiserkopf ( 2506 m above sea level ) and the Huderbankspitze ( 2319 m above sea level ). Crossing the entire south ridge from Vomper Loch via the two peaks in the south ridge to Hochglück is one of the great, long and classic ridge climbs of the Karwendel ( III ).
Hochglück is rarely climbed. The Hochglückkar and the Westliche Hochglückscharte ( 2387 m above sea level ) are particularly popular in spring, and as soon as the toll road to the Eng ( Großer Ahornboden ) is open from the end of April, many skiers cavort on the Hochglück on nice days. It is a very popular spring ski tour in the Karwendel.
