The Hochrappenkopf is a 2,425 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps .
Location and surroundings
It is located south-southwest of the Rappensee . In the east is the Rappenseekopf (2469 m) and in the southwest of the Biberkopf (2599 m). To the north, a ridge leads over to the Kleiner Rappenkopf (2276 m).
Ascent
A marked path leads to the Hochrappenkopf. It can be easily climbed from the path from the Rappenseehütte to the Biberkopf. The north-west ridge is a medium-difficulty climb ( III + ) in partially brittle rock and is very rarely used.
