The Kleine Rappenkopf (also Rappenköpfle ) is a 2,276 m high grass mountain peak in the Allgäu Alps ,

Location and surroundings

It is in front of the Hochrappenkopf to the northwest. Together with the Hochrappenkopf, it forms the southern end of the basin in which the Rappensee lies.

Ascent

No marked path leads to the Rappenköpfle. The easiest ascent is pathless over the steep grass flanks from the west ( difficulty I ), while the ascent from Rappensee can be compared with the medium-difficult climbs on the Höfats . It is rarely climbed.

botany

Like the other grass mountains in the Allgäu Alps (e.g. Höfats , Schneck , Linkerskopf ), the Rappenköpfle is rich in botany.
