Hofkirchen is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of St. Valentin in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 86 building areas on 46060 m² and 64 gardens on 194414 m² in the cadastral community; At the turn of the year 1989/1990 there were 83 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 86 and in 2009/2010 there were 119 buildings on 174 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 520 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 47 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 534 hectares and 47 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 515 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 54 hectares. The average soil climate of Hofkirchen is 40.3 (as of 2010).
