Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building. It was created after a building inscription in 1696 and represents a very early example of the use of the stand rhythm design. In the southern half of the building there is still a gate entrance in the original design with profiled walls . The compartments of the house are provided with decorative lining. In 1880 a shop was built in the style of late classicism . In addition, unusual for Quedlinburg, the south gable of the house was given a patterned slate cladding.
The north courtyard wing of the property was built around 1700. The western and southern wings date from around 1800.
