Haus Hohe Straße 15 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the urban area west of the Quedlinburg market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The hotel garni Adelheid is operated in-house.

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house , registered as a merchant's house in the Quedlinburg monument register , was built around 1750. The window shutters have carvings from the Rococo period . The gate passage including the wooden gate dates from around 1800. The building has a loading hatch facing the courtyard .

A noteworthy staircase in the building is in the early classical style with strong dralia .

In the courtyard of the property there is a wing of the building, which was built around 1780, according to other information around 1680, also in half-timbered construction. The framework is decorated with pyramid beam heads and rich profiling of the threshold. The compartments are provided with decorative lining.
