Architecture and history
The half-timbered house has three floors and was built in 1660. Architecturally, the building is of particular interest, as it was built during the transition from the Renaissance to the Baroque and the timber-frame features elements of both styles. Typical elements of the Renaissance are dew-bar and console frieze . The use of pyramid beam heads is evidence of the baroque influence . It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building.
What is remarkable is the enclosure of the property, which consists of a remnant of the city wall and has a baroque inscription panel from 1747.
