Hohenbudberg-Kaldenhausen

Hohenbudberg-Kaldenhausen was a municipality in what was then the district of Moers in the Prussian Rhine province until 1927 . Its former area is now part of the cities of Duisburg and Krefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

Since the 19th century Hohenbudberg-Kaldenhausen formed a rural community in the mayor's office of Friemersheim, which initially belonged to the Krefeld district and from 1857 to the Moers district . The districts of Hohenbudberg and Hagschinkel were changed to the city of Uerdingen on November 1, 1927 and are now part of Krefeld. The rest of the community continued to exist as Kaldenhausen for a few years . Most of the Kaldenhausen community was merged with Rumeln on June 1, 1934 and is now part of the Rumeln-Kaldenhausen district of Duisburg . Parts of the Kaldenhausen area in the area of ​​the marshalling yard and the Hohenbudberg railway settlement came to the city of Rheinhausen and are now part of the Duisburg district of Friemersheim .
