The Hohe Aderscheitel ( 3201 m above sea level ) is a mountain peak of the Maurerkamm in the Venediger Group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the west of the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger .
location
The Hohe Aderscheitel is located on the so-called Aderscheitelkamm, which rises from the outlet of the Umbalkee to the Essener Eck ( 3006 m above sea level ) and then over the Niederen Aderscheitel ( 3119 m above sea level ) to the Hohen Aderscheitl and on to the southern Malhamspitze ( 3326 m o. A. ) runs. Due to its proximity to the Malhamspitze massif, which is important in alpine terms, it is a comparatively insignificant summit. The northern flank of the Hohe Aderscheitel is almost entirely covered by the Umbalkees, to the south is the much smaller Gubachkees.
Promotion opportunities
The normal route to the Hohe Aderscheitel starts at the Clarahütte . From the Clarahütte, the ascent first follows the bottom of the Isel valley to the north until the streams that flow from the east offer an opportunity to climb over steep zones. Above the steep zones, the unmarked path crosses north to the summit, whereby you first reach the Essener Eck via pure walking terrain. From the Essener Ecker you can reach the Niederen and then the Hohen Aderscheitel ( I ) directly on the ridge with easy climbing sections . From the Hohen Aderscheitel the ascent to the southern Mahlhamspitze ( I ) is then possible.
