Hoholi ( Ukrainian Гоголі ; Russian Гоголи Gogoli ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnytskyi with about 400 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1652, belongs administratively to the district council of Shenyshkivtsi in the north of Winkivtsi district . Hoholi is 66 km southeast of the Khmelnitsky Oblast center and about 25 km northeast of the Winkiwzi district center .
The village is named after Ostap Hohol , the hetman of the right bank of Ukraine , who was born here at the beginning of the 17th century , when the village was in the Polish Podolia Voivodeship .
