The Holthauser Gemark Siefen is a small Siefen in the southern urban area of Wuppertal .
description
The Siefen is an orographically right tributary of the Saalbach and is 154 meters long according to the Wupperverband and 162 meters according to the Lower Water Authority of the city of Wuppertal. It only carries water at times and arises in a mixed forest of beech and oak . On its course, it crosses under two paths that run in the Saalbachtal (the main path forks to the west around 25 meters before Siefen).

The source of the Holthauser Gemark Siefen is protected as a natural monument, the determination takes place according to § 22 a, b LG NRW. The mouth of the Siefen in Saalbach lies in the nature reserve of the Gelpe- and Saalbachtal river system . The course of the Siefen lies in the Gelpe nature reserve .
