Honesto Chaves Pacana
Honesto Chaves Pacana SJ (born January 22, 1933 in Cagayan de Oro ) is a Filipino religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Malaybalay .
Life
Honesto Chaves Pacana joined the religious order of the Jesuits and was ordained a priest on June 10, 1965 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Malaybalay on January 12, 1994. The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines , Archbishop Gian Vincenzo Moreni , donated him episcopal ordination on March 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jesus Tuquib , Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro and Gaudencio Borbon Rosales , Archbishop of Lipa .
On February 18, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
