history

The first years

The group was formed in 2004 in Ladispoli near the Italian capital Rome by Marco "Becko" Calanca ( electric bass , vocals ), Ivan Panella ( drums ), Marco Mantovani ( lead guitar , background vocals ), Nicolò Arquilla (vocals) and Jacopo Iannariello ( Rhythm guitar ) was founded as a band with a catchy, poppy-emotional post-hardcore style.

In 2005 the musicians released the EP Aim For Tomorrow , which contains six pieces. It was produced in-house and is musically very different from the group's music today. On this EP the band played a mix of pop-punk and emotional passages. The singing of the former lead singer Arquilla was mainly screaming .

In 2008 the release of the second EP followed, which was produced by Still Life and StandBy Records and is entitled Your Face Down Now . At this point in time, the musicians had developed further musically and increasingly turned to post-hardcore . For the first time the group gave concerts outside Italy . This led the band through Germany , the USA , the United Kingdom , France and Japan . This EP is the last recording of the group with the musicians Nicolò Arquilla and Jacobo Iannariello, who both separated from the band in 2008. The group signed a contract with StandBy Records (including Black Veil Brides , Modern Day Escape ) after the group had previously been signed by Wynona Records .

Debut album: Six Years Home

After completing their US tour and some concerts through Europe , Screamer Nicolò Arquilla decided to leave the group. As a reason, he gave no longer wanting to make such music. After his engagement, he was briefly active as the front singer in the trancecore band Helia before he started producing electronic music under his stage name "Razihel".

In August 2009, the debut album Six Years Home was released on StandBy Records. It is the first album with the new front singer Daniele Tofani and rhythm guitarist Luigi Magliocca. Two music videos were produced to promote the album, Some Like it Cold (released November 2009) and Johnny's Light Sucks in October 2011. The Japanese edition of the album includes an acoustic version of Call Me Sick Boy , which is on the second EP can be found.

In 2010 the group was mainly concerned with touring. They played concerts all over Italy as well as in neighboring states. In March 2011 a cover for Katy Perry 's song Firework was released , which can be found in the follow-up album of Six Years Home .

Second album: Trust No One

Meanwhile Daniele Tofani and Marco Calanca have a musical side project called " Everland called" the life which Emocore play. The debut album was released in December 2011 under the name Once Upon a Time.

In October 2011 the group played as support for Attack Attack! alongside Bury Tomorrow in the UK and toured across Europe with stops in Russia .

The group released the second album on February 14, 2012, which is called Trust No One . Already in January two singles for the album were released with Unleash Hell and Never Trust the Hazel Eyed .
