Horse (musician)
Horse (born November 22, 1958 as Sheena Mary McDonald in Newport-on-Tay , Fife, Scotland ) is a Scottish indie , soul and pop singer and songwriter. She is particularly known for her powerful and sonorous voice.
Career
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album The Same Sky , Horse and her band played the entire album on a concert tour of the UK in October and November 2010.
In 2011 Horse sang a duet with Heather Peace on a song they wrote together: Beechwood avenue.
In March 2011 Horse toured where she played an unplugged acoustic set with the whole band.
Horse sang on the benefit song It Does Get Better , released by The L Project in 2012 . The song was for the benefit of LGBT charities and was written in response to suicide by LGBT youth.
On March 2nd, 2013, she performed with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in the Barrowland , Glasgow , to celebrate the 20th anniversary of God's Home Movie and the release of her ninth studio album HOME.
In 2015 she sang a. a. with Daniel Schuhmacher and Holger Edmaier in the then campaign song 77 - Love is Love of the project 100% MENSCH and was present at some live performances on CSDs.
