Horst Bohne

Horst Karl Ernst Bohne (born December 21, 1929 in Hanover ) is a German native writer .

Life

Bohne was born in Linden . He lived in Linden-Nord for 31 years and experienced the time of National Socialism and the Second World War there . Then he trained as a travel agent in Linden and Hannover-List . In the 1960s he moved to the List district for professional reasons.

As a part-time job, Bohne worked as a specialist teacher at various vocational schools for travel in Hanover. In addition, he was chairman of the examination committee for travel at the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry . In 1993 he retired.

In 2005 and 2006, Bohne published his series of Linden Memories in three writings. After a great response to the first brochure about his own youth, “[...] further writings and reports about the historical development of Linden with his companies and institutions followed. Today, Horst Bohne is considered an important contemporary witness to the history of Linden and Limmer , “who, after setting up his own archive , also gives lectures on shipping on the Linen and Calenberger Neustadt at public lectures .
