Horst Wedge

Horst Keil (born September 16, 1937 in Mainz , † March 20, 2006 in Leonberg ) was a German Protestant pastor , journalist and author .

Life

Horst Keil studied theology in Heidelberg and Hamburg . Then he worked in the vicariate in Esslingen-Mettingen . He then sat in on the Evangelical Community Gazette for Württemberg and on the Süddeutscher Rundfunk .

From 1968 to 1980 he headed the Office for Information of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg , which he had also set up. Then he was parish priest in Leonberg for 7 years and then became head of the Evangelical Broadcasting Agency in Stuttgart , which he headed until 1991. At the same time he became press spokesman for the regional church. In 1997 he was appointed public relations officer of the Evangelical Higher Church Council and was a member of the media council of the State Office for Communication Baden-Württemberg . In 1999 he retired.
