The Horten H VI was a high-performance flying wing glider made by the Horten brothers .

The aircraft was developed in 1943/44 on the basis of the Horten H IV as a record aircraft for gliding. The aircraft was an enlarged H IV. The aim was to compare it with the best glider at the time, the D-30 "Cirrus" , to surpass it in flight performance, which was also achieved. Both aircraft were similar in terms of their key data and had the largest wing extensions ever realized in aircraft construction .

The H VI is said to have been referred to as the Horten Ho 253. The only surviving H VI V2 is together with the remains of an H IIIg and the H IX V3 in the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in the USA.
