action
Jesse and his friend Charlie dig up Jesse's great-great-grandfather Gramps to find a crystal skull that was buried with him. The magical powers of the skull kept Gramps alive and opened portals to other dimensions. When the skull falls into the wrong hands, Jesse, Charlie and Gramps have to chase after it.
Trivia
House II - The Unexpected is a sequel to House - Das Horrorhaus , a surprise hit in 1986. Except for the screenwriter Ethan Wiley, the film has little more in common with its predecessor than the name. Bill Maher, who later had his breakthrough as a comedian and television presenter, can be seen in a supporting role.
criticism
The lexicon of international films judged that the production offered “conventional entertainment” and saw in it a “largely unimaginative” sequence of “fragments from various genres.” Only “some [...] parodic [...] Moments [...] " would provide a little entertainment.
