content

The bon vivant Jinx wants to withdraw his remaining $ 20 account balance at his bank at an ATM . Since there is a fee of $ 1.50 to withdraw, he does not receive any money. So he goes to the bank to withdraw his money from the counter. He gets caught in a bank robbery and is accidentally locked in the bank's vault together with Jessica . Next to the lockers there is a central computer of the bank. In front of the vault door is Simon with his accomplices, who cannot access the central computer by closing the vault door. The police are now also on site, and their chief officer is DeGepse. While Jinx and Jessica start a conversation, Jessica's cell phone rings. Jinx takes the call, the caller is the bank robber Simon. During the conversation, Jinx's cell phone rings with the 911 callback . Thus Jinx gets into conversation with Officer DeGepse and in the course of the conversation he gives him Simon's cell phone number.

As the film progresses, it becomes clear that the real reason for the bank robbery is access to the central computer. With this PINs can be generated for any account , which Nick, the puller of the bank robbery, needs in order to be able to access accounts on which he collects "branched" fees.

reception

For Nicole Kühn from the filmstarts.de editorial team, the “script and [the] director [...] relies so much on the pulling power of this triggering moment that the other characters and their relationships with one another remain pale. Although it quickly becomes clear what the story of the involuntary bank robber is all about, the way there is still with enough tricks to entertain at least properly for almost an hour and a half.
