Hrozňatovská pahorkatina (German: Kinsberger Hügelland ) is a district of the subunit Chebská pahorkatina (German: Egerer Hügelland ), a geomorphological main unit Smrčiny (Fichtelgebirge) according to the Czech system, which extends slightly beyond the area commonly known as the Fichtelgebirge .

Position and extent

The Hrozňatovská pahorkatina is located east of Waldsassen on the Czech-German border. It roughly corresponds to the Czech part of the Naab-Wondreb-Senke . The highest point is the Kostelní vrch (Kirchberg, 544 m).

To the north, separated by the Odrava valley , the Výhledská vrchovina (German: Oberkunreuther Bergland), which takes up roughly the Czech part of the High Fichtel Mountains , is followed by another subunit of the Fichtel Mountains. To the northeast and east follows the Chebská pánev (Eger Basin), south of the Dyleňský les (Tillenberg Forest) around the Dyleň (Tillen) in the Český les (Bohemian and Upper Palatinate Forest).
