Hugo Enrique Kiesse , also known as Hugo Enrique Kiese (born October 18, 1954 in Tebicuary , Guairá ), is a former Paraguayan football player who acted in the offensive area. After spending most of his active career in Mexico , where he met his wife, the former Spanish actress and singer Isabel Rincón Bautista, better known under the stage name Estrellita (German asterisk ), he stayed in Mexico after his career ended and left naturalize in 1994.

Kiesse began his professional career at Club Olimpia , with whom he won the Paraguay Football Championship in 1975 . Immediately after this success he moved to Club América in the Mexican league and won several titles with the Aguilas over the next two years : first the championship title of the 1975/76 season and then the Supercup , the following year the CONCACAF Champions' Cup and 1978 Copa Interamericana .

Soon after his wedding to the artist Estrellita on December 29, 1977, the couple settled in Guadalajara , Mexico's second largest city , where Kiesse hunted goals for Tecos UAG between 1978 and 1986 and scored 109 goals in the Primera División , became the most successful goalscorer in the club's history. He then let his active career end in the 1986/87 season with local rivals Atlas Guadalajara .

Kiesse later held several positions as a football official : from 1996 to 1998 he was the club president of Club Atlante and in 2009 he was appointed sports director of Club León . He was also President of the Mexican National Teams Committee, member of the FIFA Media Committee and Technical Director at Club America.
