The Hungerbach is about half a kilometer long and right, periodic tributary of the Jossa in the Main-Kinzig district in the Hessian Spessart .

The Hungerbach rises at an altitude of about 410  m above sea level. NHN on the edge of a mixed forest south of Lettgenbrunn .

It flows in a north-easterly direction past the nature park hiking car park "Hungerbach" and finally flows out at an altitude of about 395  m above sea level. NHN southeast of the village from the right into the Jossa, which is only 1.5 km long .

Its 0.5 km long run ends about 15 meters below its source, so it has an average bottom gradient of 30 ‰.
